Old bus

Hi Guys

I have spotted this old bus in Zimbabwe and I am trying to find out what model it is.

That is a Bedford S-type truck cowl.
The S-type was a 7-tonner IIRC, and, as such was known as the Big Bedford (previous models were 5-tonners).
The S-type was superceded in 1959 by the TK.
The S-type cab design persisted with the R-type 3-ton 4x4 which became the standard Army truck (including the Green Goddess) from the 1950s until 1969.

Where can I find the manufactures plate and with that info can I find the exact year model.
And where can I get info like weight and dimensions as I am trying to arrange the necessary documents and transport to get it out of Zimbabwe and into South Africa

The manufacturer's plate is usually on the left hand interior wheelarch, underneath the passenger seat mounting.

There would be many options, particularly on a chassis that was supplied as a truck that was converted into a bus.

It could have been operated as a truck before being rebodied as a bus, however, there was a model SB which was designated as a bus chassis.
