Alexander Dennis job cuts

I can't find the earlier announcements here. This is the follow-up:-

Given the current market slowdown it’s inevitable and sad that companies have to do this to survive.
There has been much debate about help for the car industry, but the reality is that there seems to be little help for companies like this that support thousands of jobs directly and indirectly and are the backbone of the vehicle-manufacturing sector.

I used to visit MCW, Duple and Plaxtons (as well as Workington - when they were still building double deckers - and after when it was just Volvo) and Optare at Leeds.
