Today at 11:04 rescue services was called to road 222 in Värmdö, Stockholm, Sweden. A car had, for unknown reason, crashed into the cable barrier and then crashed over it, and into a Scania OmniLink driving in the opposite direction.
The driver of the car was killed and the bus driver is seriously injured. Fortunately the car was on its way to the depot so it was empty.
The road was closed in both direction. Opened eastbound after three hours and westbound after four hours.
It is the second accident in short time in this area involving a vehicle going through (or in this case maybe over) a cable barrier. So how good are they?
