newbee from ireland
Hi, My name is Eric and I am a welshman living in Ireland. I am 56 years old and I love old lorries. My dad used to drive and he was also a mechanic. I used to go with him quite a lot years ago. I have been in a Commer TS3 that was owned by Griffiths of Nant-y-derry south wales, I have been in a Atkinson borderer owned by Morfa transport south wales, I have been in a Scammell routeman of calor gas, I have also been in a Thames trader, a Thornycroft box van, a Guy Big J from Wynns of newport, I have been in a Albion, Bedford, Leyland octapuss, and a lot of other lorries. The Commer TS3 was a nice sounding Lorry.

Welcome, taffyjones - I can tell that you are going to fit in well with the majority of members here on T&B Forum.
With a pedigree that includes all those interesting vehicle you must have lots to tell. Is your dad still around to answer questions about his drives? Sadly I miss being able to ask mine things that he would have been able to answer. |
