I can see it.

My truck has a similar thing but, by Omnitracs rather than Qualcomm.
It does also store it on my Driver card and, on the tacho head unit. This is just the G.U.I. bit.

In Australia I think for years Drivers tried to do away with log books.

Having driven the States for a good number of years I used the log book.
Sometimes the log was a pain in the backside. Would have been nice to have had this new system. (I no longer drive in US).
This E-Log makes it a lot easier and more flexible, well from what I have just seen.
Never thought I would see the day. American truck drivers are very set in the ways.
