le routier at the top of cherbourg hill
called into the cafe at the top of cherbourg hill on way home, nice simple food, nice people, parking for about 20 trucks opens 16.30 for evening meal.
have put some pics on of the painted murals on the inside walls. trucks of course. alan |

Hi my how things have changed,when you used to get to the hill on the duel track you were pleased to get there never mind about a cafe it was the police you used to worry about,you were still not safe in the port until you were on the ferry,you never had time to eat,, there was one coppper he had a silver pistol [true]i forgot his nick name "motor bike" cop ..they would check your disks as you were queing to board ,and come into the terminial[truck line] to look for drivers,not in their trucks absolut BAST--DS you enjoy your meals in the cafes ..
on the run backto cherbourg,because me and loads of others never had time,allways chaseing the ferry ,from once loaded in ALMARIA the race was allways on,good old days YES,DO IT NOW,YES,the last eats was the fish resturant,BIGhits then, not big eats,,,ex ROKOLD... |
