Hi friends
I could already find the answers elsewhere - German friends told me the solution: - Daimler (Germany) Motorpostwagen of 1905 - first postbus in Germany ! Put in service by the Royal Bavarian Post on the first postbus line in Germany between Bad Toelz and Lenggries. - in 1963 it was part of the collection in the Verkehrsmuseum (Museum of Transports) in Nuremberg. In 2005 put back in jubilee service on its old line. In 2010 it stood in the Museum of Communication in Frankfurt/Main. By the way: The lonely buffer in the lower left edge belongs to the replica of the "Adler", the first German locomotive on the Ludwigs-Eisenbahn between Nurember and Fuerth in 1835, built by Stephenson, Newcastle. |
