London Carriers (Phillips electrical)

Why the (Phillips electrical) were they owned by them or was it that most of their work was for them with anything else taken along but not given the same priority?

Thinking about my previous post, they probably became Interforward when/if they were split off from Phillips.
When they got taken over by Bibby's, some of the drivers were still on London Carriers contracts of employment.
They used to tell tales of taking a wagon and drag all the way to Phillip's main factory in Holland loaded with ONE hairdrier! Then returning EMPTY! The joys of in-house transport.
