Bus crasched with truck in Stockholm

As I'm still part of the safety department on Lidingö I just got news from there.
Bus 7414, a Solaris, crasched with a truck today on route 73.
8 people injured. 4 to hospital.
Probably driver injury too.

Looks like quite a smack!
At least the driver would be wearing a seatbelt.

Yes, the Solaris buses have seatbelts for the driver. But the front is badly damaged. The steering wheel must be 5-10 cm further back (the whole front is) than it should, and on these buses you sit quite close to the steering wheel if you want to reach the pedals (that also probaby have been moved in the crash)

Some sources say the truck was driving on the wrong side but I have no details.

Update: The truck was not driving on the wrong side. The bus crasched in the rear of the truck. Reason unknown (don't have to be driver error, can't give any details)

The bus is now repaired for 650 000 SEK (~70 550€).
Too bad Keolis don't want it back for the moment as all Solaris buses are out of service until Solaris found a solution for all the errors.
