Military Vehicle Museum

Going to Newcastle in June and have a few hours to spare so after looking through ‘things to do in Newcastle’ I decided on a visit to the -
Military Vehicle Museum, Exhibition Park Pavillion, Newcastle Upon Tyne.

A museum of WW2 and other militaria created by members of the North East Military Vehicle Club within the historical, last remaining Pavilion of the 1929 North East Coast Exhibition.

Sounded good but the Military Vehicle Museum will be closed for the foreseeable future as they have no funding for roof repairs.
They also had direct teaching services for schools and staff available with responsibility for education along with printed/audio-visual information available for schools.

It’s a crying shame and with some of the millions of lottery money going to what I think are stupid causes.
