Dennis Big 4 Northumberland Brigade 1948

(Quite what a Northumberland appliance is doing on a Stockton website remains a mystery. The JR registration from Northumberland confirms its origins.)

I would suggest that this vehicle predates 1948 and was probably inherited from the (disbanded) National Fire Service (which was formed from the Auxiliary Fire Services during the War from 1941 until 1947). I'd date the machine to around 1936:-
