Thurso and Wick are 21mls apart, Thurso is beside the port Scrabster where the tankers berth yet fuel is 5p a ltr cheaper in Wick. The reason being (i am told ) is that there is a supermarket in Wick and the fuel companies supply the garages cheaper because they are in direct opposition with a it
