albion claymore.

any one remember .the flat fronted under floor engined albion claymore.4-6 tons.mainly used on local shop deliveries.i remember in the sixties nestle had a depot at felling on tyne.they had a couple of these albions on local work.just talking to my mate. last night about these trucks.regards.

I think the engine lay on its side in that one, anyone confirm that?

yes ,the engine was horizontally mounted. under neath the cab.powered by albions 4.1diesel engine.

great photos of the claymore.wonder how the driver,s today. would feel chugging around, on local deliveries.with the claymore.regards.
