4 hours from huddersfield to jcn 22 m62

Last Thursdays trunk to Severn Beach ex Huddersfield took 7hr 08 mins driving time to acheive, had to have a nine off at The Hollies, and, oh! boy , has that place changed, they have revamped the place, and it's lovely and clean, with brilliant service, and great food, will definitely be stopping there again sometime,Quality.

See the short Video I shot here....http://youtu.be/ShN621MZxQo

I carry a sleeping bag, some thermal trousers (as used for skiing), a fur hat as well as the usual small shovel, and (since last week) snowsox and snowchains (as insurance).
I'm about to acquire a wind-up torch (high-power LED) and I've already got a small very bright LED lamp (with a magnetic back).

I have my survival kit on board at all times, driving different trucks all the time, it would be daft not to, good job I had it with me on this trip. Bonus on the way back, got paid 8 hours for running in and had my Friday night at home with the family....Result !

Standard equipment, in all of our trucks. They are very handy.

That's what I feared, so why I'm opting for a wind-up one.
