Autocar Christmas Double Issue (out on Wednesday)

You may be wondering why I would mention a car magazine here.

In the Christmas double issue of the magazine they always have a non-car road test. The road test for this Christmas is the new bus for London, the "Borismaster". These tests are usually as detailed as the car tests so this may prove of interest to some here. I have the magazine regularly anyway as I am also into cars.

One to look out for in the library. Sorry, I mean W.H. Smith's on the motorway services.

Just got home with my issue. Looks a reasonably comprehensive test, stretching to 6 pages with plenty of photos. Probably one of the best test reports you will see in the magazine press.

The new prototype London Routemaster bus ran out of fuel on a motorway, just days after being formally unveiled.
The New Bus for London had to pull over on Monday after warning lights came on.
The bus, which runs on a hybrid diesel-electric motor, was not refuelled before being driven from London to Millbrook Testing Ground, Bedfordshire.
