Bedford engine/lucas starter
Hi all!
My name is Mark, 44yrs from Holland. I joined this forum after being referred by my mate Simon because i own a 1942 Chevrolet Canada (CMP) C15A . As it turns out it is outfitted with a Bedford 200/220 CU 4 cylinder Diesel engine. Recently the starter(or solenoid) gave up on me. I have ordered a new solenoid which is in the mail now. I have loosened the starter, but because the chassis is in the way i cant get it out. Also i cant turn it enough to see any numbers on the casing. So i am hoping to find someone here who has a similar engine and can help me with that. If i have the number(s) it would make it a whole lot easier to source a new or refurbished one ... Cheers! A very warm welcome from the usually sunny Isle of Anglesey, Markwise.
I don't think there's any need to repost your question. |
