Hi Guys and Gals,
Sort of retired, interested in transport from models to super heavy haulage & vintage since the sixties, and been in photography since, yes, the sixties, into video since the 1980s. Hope to contribute when work permits, I hope I have some pictures and possibly video to tickle the fancy of other members. presently trying to build a Transport web site to show my work outside of the forum. I think I am a bit of a bitsa, I am interested in a bit of this, a bit of that and I guess my knowledge is a bit patchy too.

Thing is I wasn't an older guy when I started!

It just grew on me. Hope you will get as much pleasure from my photos and eventually videos as I did taking them.

Early eighties, on a road trip with friends with a 60's Scammell & an AEC 1937, visited a wealthy collector, looking round his varied collection, I asked what he was taking to the GDSF that year, he gave a list (extensive but I don't recall the detail )then asked what I was taking "Oh, the usual, Mamiya, pentax." His response was to the effect "I am taking this******* lot on six ********low loaders and your taking **** **** Cameras!" that gave us all including him a laugh for many years. Sadly he is no longer with us.
Blinking cheek, I just noticed your age, older Guy? older guy? I only have a couple of years on you! Blinkin Kids!
