Commer Avenger Chassis
I've got a model of a chassis and curious as to what it is . I have been told it's a Commer Avenger... very detailed but some parts have become detatched.. I'm going to restore it..any comments welcome !

That engine looks to me like a petrol engine(with distributor and ignition coil). Last edited by G-CPTN; 27th July 2011 at 00:17. |

There would always be an option, in fact petrol might have been 'standard' until diesel became popular.
What puzzles me is the photographs seem to show a mid-engined bus chassis - I'm not familiar with Commer bus chassis, but this suggests that the Avenger was an underfloor design:- http://www.mediastorehouse.com/comme...t/4001747.html (read the text on the illustration) |
