Hello people
Found this site through Ships Nostalgia. I'm ancient enough to remember with affection all kinds of road transport even trams (my ID is a reference to my mother in the Great War). I know I shall enjoy my visits to the site.

Many thanks for the welcoming responses. Yes, it is a Kiwi flag in honour of my Dad who hailed from Auckland but remained in England after meeting Mother in 1917. I've spent a lot of time there but unfortunately have no ohotographs of bus or truck types. I wonder if any of the members have recollections or images of the trolley buses that operated on a free of charge basis transporting customers to and from Farmers department store in Queen Street Auckland.
Regards. |
