All of Robson's of Carlisle's trucks had 'Border' names - I remember seeing Border Reiver back in the early 1950s when they passed our house on the A69 trunk-road to/from Carlisle.
(since by-passed - I dread to think what it would be like if all today's traffic had to use the old road though the town - it's congested enough without!)
