Getting a bit more like Big Brother (1984) every day . . .

We've already got tracking of mobile 'phones (which almost everyone carries nowadays).

....maybe like 1984, but any assistance that the driver receives is most welcome! I have driven school buses some horrendous ones, missiles being thrown, pupils fighting and the worse one, the little ********* opened the Emergency Door whilst travelling around 40mph NOT FUNNY!

Sounds like school buses need 'marshals'.
(I really don't know why we are busing children to school anyway - schools should be 'local' IMO.)
