hi all i'm new to the forum and need some advice
i've recently stopped working for an agency to start full time work
the agency have told me that they can't pay me for the hours i've worked until i go to the company where i've been placed to download my digi card in THERE machine is this BS as i've done a few bits of agency work and never encountered this before cheers in advance all |

I've no experience of Digi-cards, either, so I don't know for sure but, it might be that the company are witholding money, from the agency, until you do. They will, legally, need a complete record of the hours you worked and, this is one way of making sure they get that.

The company you worked for on the agency will need to keep records of the hours you worked so all companies that employ agency drivers usually download your digicard at the end of the shift. If they didn't download yours, then they will need to do so. The comment above is probably correct, they will withhold payment from the agency until they have the information. I suggest you go and let them download your card, as it only takes a few minutes, job done, and you get paid.
