I know we can find photos of Maudslay Lorries on 'tinterweb but have we a photo taken by a member at a truck show? and can anybody think of another make we have'nt got. over to T.B.D.A. (that is Truck Bus Detective Agency)

First time on here so not sure of what you are actually looking for, is it old photos , restored vehicle photos or both. Regarding Maudslay here is a 1940 shot of the Militant 6 ton military truck

I believe that the horizontal 'board' in front of the windscreen was part of a system to prevent 'gas' from reaching the driver (though I don't know what effect it had for the passenger(s).

I think it is called a gas-sensitive tray which was painted with something that changed colour and warned the occupants of the presence of harmful gases
