Thank you SO MUCH guys! Long Acre makes sense too, with the Croydon based business.
Steve our nephew is over the moon, this has bugged him for a long time. He never knew Ron, but my wife did back when she was a nipper. This photo is on the lounge wall, and has been subject of much discussion over the years.
Now if you ever want to know anything about trains I'm your man :-)
