This night people broke into the
folkpark in Lidköping, where the
dansband Kindbergs tour bus were parked. After stealing a boat motor and some other things, they stole the tour bus, and drove through the gates.
A police patrol spotted the bus shortly after and a wild chase started.
The thiefs threw out furniture and beer cans on the chasing cars.
The police decided to use spike strips and managed to puncture some of the tires, but the wild ride continued through a road work, almost hitting oncoming cars. One hour after the spike strip the bus was driving on the rims and crashed into a ditch outside Vara and the driver and another man was arrested.
The band leader calls it a disaster becasue their tour bus, that they have put millions into, is vandalised.
