Hi, My father used to drive for Morecambe and Heysham Transport Dept, Just after the war.

It was always handy if I wanted a free ride, The downside was my father was always told by his mates if they saw me out, ( Big brother but in the 60's )

Then you had to change to get on a Ribble bus to get into Lancaster, The one thing I used to love as a child was Holidays, Seeing all different coloured Buses as I traveled through the Uk.

Now sadly a most of that has now gone and we are left with a lot of plain buses owned by one company.
