Translation for non Swedes

In just one month, three SL buses on fire. The cause is believed to be bus passenger compartment heater, but why the fires have occurred at this time is a mystery to investigators.

There were passengers on the bus 52, which itself did smell of smoke and raised the alarm. The driver drove immediately to the side in Pontonjärgatan and made sure everyone got off. Soon after the bus was in flames. And it is the third ethanol bus catches fire in Stockholm this month. The culprit is believed to be the car heater.

- When it's cold, we have energy-friendly engines, without waste, and to warm up the bus, we have a standard auxiliary heater in the bus that runs on ethanol. It is completely separate from the engine, and it is this which we believe has begun to leak and burn, says Ted Stridsberg, president of Keolis.

Continues running the other week burned a bus on Lindhagensgatan. Prior to the Sergel Square. All fires have occurred in modern ethanol buses manufactured by Scania, and altogether there are nearly 600 such in Stockholm.

The buses will continue to run, 45 of them have been identified as impaired and driving because of banned car heater until further notice. Keolis hope the investigation will be completed by the end of the week, but so far there are many questions.
