Whatever happened to the
Clyde Amphibus?
I wonder what the frequency will be compared to rail?
(I realise that the running costs will be less than rail.)
(Answer to the Amphibus was that the slipways were 'not suitable' for vehicle use at low tide (they weren't 'long' enough). Extending the slipways would have been expensive (and probably obstructed the river for other craft). )
