New crash tender for Manchester Airport.

As reported elsewhere, Manchester Airport is acquiring a new 'huge fire engine'.

I cannot find any details of this (yet). The existing machines are 3-axle Reynolds Boughton Barracuda / Carmichael Cobra 2s I believe.

However, during my search I found:-
Quote:
Rosenbauer ‘Panther’ 8×8 unit. It weighs nearly 40 tons, and has a capacity of 3,830 gallons (14,500 liters) of fire extinguishing agents and a maximum speed of 87 mph (140 km/h).
(there is no suggestion that this is what Manchester Airport have chosen)

I wonder what the parameters are for Manchester's new appliance?
