I wonder why they don't fit engine-compartment fire-extinguishers?
Maybe the frequency doesn't justify the cost (although the cost of a bus must be worth the cost of an extinguisher . . . ).
Would a persistent electrical short be inhibited by an extinguisher long enough for the driver to turn off the electrics?
I presume that there is a master switch to turn off the electrics? After all, it is a people carrier . . .
