And yes, "Speedbird" is borrowed from BA although I never had direct contact with the airline other than being a passenger on many of their flights to/from South America. Actually my first-ever flight was on a BSAA Lancastrian from London to Buenos Aires in 1946 (aged 8), a 3-day trip in those days compared to 14 hours today. My interest in transportation started at that early age, engine spotting at Okehampton (Devon) station, and which later included ships (travelling several times Buenos Aires/UK/Buenos Aires) and commercial aircraft. I also worked for many years in the travel industry here in Argentina including, for a short time, a tour bus company where i drove a bus on occasions. Unfortunately I did not have a camera, so the only photos of local town and long distance buses I have are those taken from the Internet which, I presume, I am not allowed to download. Anyway, I look forward to being a member of this forum. Thank you all!
