New Member from OZ
 

Hi All,
Brian here,
I have a 1989 36 foot Foretravel Grand Villa, RV, (Motor home)
Its a Mansion on wheels, With all the Bells and whistles,
It runs a 300 HP Turbo Caterpillar Diesel engine, Diesel Pusher,
Allison 4 speed auto with Lockers in all gears,
I have owned it for 10 years and have done about 6000 Kays in it,
It has airbag suspension,
Its like driving a big luxury car, Key Word, Its Big and Tall, 3.5 metres,
I imported it from Texas in the USA, It was converted to right hand drive in California, Along with the electrics and gas to comply with Australian ADRs,
I also had to put a new left hand door in it, ADRs again,
I only wanted a 34 footer, But it is 4 inches to long on the overhang and they wont register them in OZ,
From first buying it, Sight unseen off the internet, I seen it for the first time 8 months later when it rolled off the docks in Melbourne Australia,
After going thru Customs and Immigration checks for bugs, Etc Etc,
It also spent 3 weeks in Yokohama in Japan waiting for a ship to OZ,
It came by Roll On, Roll Off,
