I am minded to go but the weather forecast is not 'good' and my journey requires a couple of hours drive each way.

Ditto..... but since I'm in the country at the same time as the rally... I'm tempted, rain or otherwise.

Daughter (who actually 'stays' in Biggar - lives there for English) has recommended that I cancel due to the weather threat - which seems to include light rain at best with thunder likely.
I would walk 15 minutes from her house and then be outside without shelter for the whole day before walking back.

At over 3 hours, each way, tis too far for me in the time I have available.

I was delivering to Biggar 3-4 weeks ago and knew it rang a bell but couldn't recall why. Now I know.
