Hello all, KM restoration project started.
Hi all,
Just joined the forum as I have recently got myself a 1971 Bedford KM (hence the username) and am setting about fixing her up and getting her back on the road. It is a lovely old farmer's lorry with a wooden dropside tipper body (not an original tipper, it is a 208" wheelbase which has been converted to a tipper) which was in use up until '95 to transport sugar beet (found a few old weighbridge tickets in the cab and the last tacho disc in the head). I think from the wheel base it is a KML model, has a 466 cu in engine with a 2 speed Eaton axle. I have made a start, but have joined this forum in the hope of finding help and advice as I come across all sorts of problems I'm not sure how to progress with... a list which is getting longer! You may find me posting many calls for help with all things Bedford/466/Eaton related in the near future. Cheers! |
Bedford KM! A very warm welcome from the usually sunny Isle of Anglesey. I hope you get whatever help you need.
