Hello

I have a Bedford MJ, 4 Ton Army truck. Any contact/help from those who know how to maintain/run it would be useful.

Welcome to the forum SkipperBill there is a lot of information on here, but I am sure our Bedford Expert should be able to help.

Hello Bill and a warm welcome from the sunny Isle of Anglesey.

I have a manual for the military TK 4x4 (originally known as MK due to the 330 diesel multifuel engine) later known as the MJ with the straight 330 diesel engine.

If you have questions . . .

Thanks G-CPTN, I'll keep it in mind when I get any problems.

Wheel nut torque would be useful?

Much to my astonishment, there is no figure quoted (and I've been through every possible section), however, it was generally considered that the wheelnut spanner would control the tightness - ie what force you could apply to the supplied spanner.

Of course, if you haven't got the original spanner . . .

I don't know if this helps:- http://www.conti-online.com/www/down...e_table_bg.pdf
