Singapore's Berliet Bus

Hmmmm - an interesting compromise (bodge-up?).

It's not clear if the conversion was done by Berliet or the coachbuilder. Interesting though that only those few years ago manufacturers didn't always offer both LHD and RHD versions.

Berliet (especially buses) didn't really feature outside of France (and their colonies) until they were absorbed into Renault.

IIRC that was the engine which was originally intended for my VX 4/90 (OCC 608M) |
