One dead after collision between bus and truck
 

7.24 thursday morning emergency units were called to the Ålem intersection at European Highway 22.
A bus (A Scania OmniExpress) had made a left turn and was struck in the side by a 24m truck.
The truck and the bus collided with two cars and ended up in a ditch.
One of the car drivers were killed in the accident and five buspassengers and a passenger in one of the cars were rushed to hospital.

Police says they believe that the bus driver did not see the truck because it was hidden by a vehicle doing roadworks.
The road is also very slippery after a snowstorm on the east coast today and many smaller accidents have occured along the E22.
