It might be fair to say DFDS have cut this service to safeguard their Newcastle to Europe passenger services.

Way back in the 1980s DFDS ran ferries to Denmark from Felixstowe and Newcastle.

Both gone now . . .

They used to do a lot of routes and today from Newcastle with DFDS it’s Amsterdam only as far as I know.

Yes, the Newcastle boats used to do Norway in between the trips to Esbjerg.
