Albion gathering at Biggar August 15th 2010.
 

Biggar (Lanarkshire, Scotland) has an association with Albion and sustains its links with various events thoughout the year, one of which is a gathering of Albions (and other 'vintage' vehicles).
The date this year is August 15th, and I am considering attending (my daughter now lives in Biggar . . . ).

We expect a full report and a photograph of every thing bigger than a 'Tranny van'

There is a small, informal, museum (run by volunteers) which houses most of the show models (engines, gearboxes and axles - sectioned to show internals) as well as a collection of photographs (not all Albions). The layout is representative of an early 20th Century 'workshop' (not clean and tidy!) and there are remains of very early Albions.
The Register does own some restored vehicles, but these don't seem to be directly connected with the museum (I'm still trying to work out the relationship between the factions) and weren't in evidence during my visits (to the museum). There is also (close by) a general museum which does include a restored (and working) Albion car - though the curator seemed unaware of it!

If you do visit Biggar, the Albion museum is in North Back Road (parallel to and north of the main street) just along from the general museum.
