Several people are hurt as a double decker bus collides with a parked car and a telegraph pole near Durham City.

Among those who helped at the scene were Durham Police chief constable Jon Stoddart and assistant chief constable Michael Banks.
They were in an unmarked police car on their way to a crime prevention conference when they came across the incident.
