Hi everyone, sorry I have not posted before as I have been on this site since 11th September 2008. I worked for Bristol Omnibus for 8 years in the 70s and did a bit of light van driving around the country. I still have my PSV badge No. HH41208. I do read the site a lot but as I am not very up on trucks & buses (railway man) I have not posted up to now.
I did have the privilege of being the first driver on the Bristol bus Co. to drive the Leyland National and managed to ground it on an adverse camber turn. Still have my hand book and keys.
