Road accidents are common in India and claim hundreds of lives each year.
So how many are killed each year in road crashes in the UK? I believe that the figure is about 3000 (and that is for a much lower population than India). The numbers for India have to be much higher than suggested.

Road deaths in India is about 90,000 a year.
