Bedford Embassy Coach Window Seal Replacement - HELP!!!

Evening All!!

Hubby and I are restoring a Bedford Embassy Coach (29 seater, very cool!) one of the many, many jobs needing done is the window seals - they are all completely shot!

Has anyone got any good gen on how best to go about prising the old windows out, and the potentially more difficult job of refitting new seals (recommendations for size, brand etc would be welcome) and the original windows.

If anyone wants to see what we're working with there's a FaceGeek page with a couple of pictures on: www.facebook.com/berthathebedfordbus

Any help, advice or assistance would be gratefully appreciated!!

Hi, we are about to change the rubbers on our Bedford embassy, we have the baby 21 seater, we found removing any wooden trim, then cutting the old rubber with a stanley knife worked well, be careful as one window just fell out when we wern't looking oops! we got our seals from Baines part no IRS 0199-6.3mm EPDM the price drops over 30 metre

I too am in the process of replacing the seals of the side windows on my Embassy- however, I have a slightly larger problem in that there is no frame remaining for the seal to sit on!
There does not seem to be a lot of pictures of the construction of these vehicles in Internetland- anyone got any pictures (or diagrams) of what it is supposed to look like?
Looks like the metal frame is clad in wood- is this three separate parts or one routed piece? How was the wood attached to the frame?
Large plank of Ash at the ready- just not sure what shape it needs to be!

Angus.

Also replacing windows...

... actually I’m removing one and putting it on the other side... it’s a Bedford SB3... and not sure how to take it out without damaging it... any ideas would be great...
