Hi Folks

I live just north of Christchurch in NZ's South Island. I've just started doing up a Bedford TK and stumbled across your useful looking forum.

Cheers
Myles

Morning/evening Myles!

A very warm welcome from the usually sunny Isle of Anglesey.:)

Early afternoon and sunny here, thanks for the welcome. I've driven across Anglesey a few times en-route to Ireland - lovely part of the world.

Hello Myles and welcome to the forum, enjoy and all the best.

Welcome to Truck and Bus Forum, Myles .

What model and age of TK have you got?
What condition is it?

Do you know the history of who has owned it and what it has done during its working life?

Will you show it, or just enjoy it?

Welcome to T&B Myles hope to see you joining in with photos and comments.

Thanks for the kind words guys. Is it just me or does every forum have a moderator called Ian :-)

I've attempted to attach a link to my TK blog to my signature. I hope that's allowed, if not I'll remove it again. Is that a good way to go or would a forum thread be better?

Ian 26th March 2013 20:43

Well the link works, this is how I like restoration going on, just watching :D:D

Mods called Ian, could it be we are fair minded, calm, modest
(Be very careful Coastie)

Depending on how long ago that was, you might notice an improvement if you were to do it nowadays, a dual carriageway has been built through the island.

Gosh it does look different (thanks Google maps) and a new bridge I see. We would have been passing that way on family holidays in the 60s and 70s.

coastie 27th March 2013 12:19

Aye, the new bridge over the Railway one was opened in the late 70's early 80's.
