 G'day from New Zealand

Hi from Auckland. I am an ex-Leyland apprentice from the 50's, and still interested in buses and trucks especially from that era. Any other ex-Leyland folk out there?

 Welcome mike.
I must have drove close to a million miles in leylands ,And they allways did the business. Though the leyland 400 in the bristol LH was a bit on the loud side. Best wishes LES. |

 (5) A Lion in London Zoo was lazing in the sun and licking his **** when a visitor turned to the keeper and said,”thats a docile old thing isn`t it?” “ No way,” said the keeper,”it is the most ferocious beast in the zoo.Why only an hour ago it dragged a Scotsman into the cage and completely deoured him.” “Hardly seems possible,” said the astonished visitor, ‘But why is he lying there licking his ****?” “The poor thing is trying to get the taste out of his mouth,”said the keeper . Have a good day. |

 Where in Auckland?

		Hi John,
I live in Howick, and work part-time in Otahuhu. Now I have a free Gold Card, I recently took a bus from Botany in to Auckland city - my first bus ride for about 50 years! But that's a commentary on the so called bus service rather than any dislike of buses. Just bought a motor bike, after a 50-year gap, so now I'll be travelling on 2 wheels at least when the weather impoves.. Cheers, Mike |
