Hi I have a fleet of 2 buses both Huddersfield , both double deck, the Daimler I bought 2 years ago and it needed quite a bit of work to put back on the road however it is roadworthy and I try to keep using it as much as I can. I couldnt believe my luck tonight to find 2 pics of the other bus on here.... they will be very useful to help in putting the bodywork back together. lots of stories to tell on here in the future as well as the friends I have made who have an old bedford truck they have restored ... so that should interest some of the truck members that you have ..... many thanks for letting me join your group..
:)

I spent 17 years in the Experimental Department of Bedford Truck and Bus . . .

do you remember this bedford vehicle

Looks like a KH model (rather than a KM), probably 381 cu in Bedford engine.

Luton registration (though not a 'prototype') so probably Central Traffic (doing the haul between Luton/Dunstable and Ellesmere Port).

Not from the Engineering Department fleet, so not one that I would have driven.

If you do come over I look forward to meeting you and having a cuppa. (Or a panad as we say here.):)
