Not a bridge but a building caused me problems in Bradford, last week. Some cladding had been blown off the roadside wall. The Police, in their infite wisdom, closed the road past it, "for safety's sake."
Unfortunately, they didn't close it far enough back. Leaving me with a "blind-side"reverse, to get turned around. Another artic driver, on the opposite side, had a similar problem.

So did you get out and assist each other?

Absolutely amazing, luck was on the drivers side that day. :eek::eek::)

We were on opposite sides of the dangerous building. So, we had to manage on our own.
