Bedford SL

Hello just signed up to this club.

I started my Bedford sl yesterday it has been converted to diesel
However the reves were much higher than tick over
And when I pulled the kill switch nothing happened.
I looked on the main fuel management block
And the kill lever is moving but has no
Effect to stop the engine..

Any ideas what the problem is??

Thanks. Lancer.

I would disconnect the cable at the injector pump and try operating it by hand; the cable may not be pulling far enough and adjustment is all that is needed.

Hay thanks for that.

I have tried that already and operated
the leaver by hand but it still did not
cut the engine.

So may be something has come loose??
