Ahoy There !!
Hello to all. I am a Captain in the Merchant Navy ( semi-retired ) and have spent quite a bit of time in Malta where trucks, and most commercial vehicles, were not only practical but also highly decorated and a lot of fun. I remember well the days of "Roy Rogers"and " True Grit", and the old favourite of many Maltese, " Manchester United". I have a few photos of some of these which I will gladly post when I get a bit of time.
Sadly a lot of the old traditional paint jobs are now gone, but there are still enough to make it interesting. I still wait for the day when the buses return to their original colours.
