This is crazy - especially as the Royal Mail vehicles are still running the routes (delivering mail).
I don't believe it was ever in question that the fares wouldn't cover the costs of the PostBuses, but I don't follow Royal Mail's decision to turn down the subsidy . . .
Even if there were no passengers, then the subsidy was 'bunce', Shirley?
